One of our favourite types of projects are when a client comes to us with an open brief looking for a solution. The Bra Experience for Nike was just such a project.  

Sports bra sizes and styles are notoriously difficult to get right. When research showed that many women  were inadvertently wearing the wrong sizes and therefore not properly equipped for the  best performance, Nike asked us to come up with a solution to help educate and empower women by ensuring they were aware of the correct fitting process and correctly equipped.

Our proposal? An omnichannel approach that would assist and educate women on correct bra sizing that was led by sports.

So we took customers on journey of exploration to help them choose a size and style that would not compromise performance. We understood that the wide variations in women’s body shapes, sizes, and in the sporting activities they pursued made bra-choosing not just difficult, but potentially intimidating. So we built both online and physical journeys that were simple, broken into clear steps, and everyone could relate to. A microsite with curated step-by-step process and links to purchase via partner’s ecommerce  platforms, paired with a travelling physical pop-up ensured that access and support was widespread. Lastly to boost awareness, hyperlocal influencers helped to drive traffic and consumers to the online and offline tools, ensuring that regardless of location female athletes had access and were supported on their sporting journey’s.
